Dhiv Naidoo Pollinate Health musculoskeletal physiotherapist

A career built on musculoskeletal expertise

With more than eight years’ experience, Dhiv has worked across both hospital and private practice settings. He began his career at the Northern Hospital, rotating through multiple departments and working within an interdisciplinary model that included surgeons, doctors, and other allied health professionals.

This gave him early exposure to complex cases, advanced practice clinics and mentoring from highly experienced clinicians — experience that has shaped him into a strong diagnostician and problem-solver.

Across all of his roles, Dhiv has developed expertise in both manual therapy and rehabilitation. He values hands-on treatment to relieve pain and restore movement when clinically indicated, and he also designs progressive, gym-based programs to help people rebuild strength and resilience. Sometimes that means focusing on one approach, sometimes the other, and often a combination — always guided by the patient’s needs and goals.

Strong commitment to evidence and learning

Dhiv’s professional development has been enriched by continuous mentoring and hands-on learning. He values educational opportunities where patients share their journeys in real time, providing unique insights into both clinical care and the patient experience. This focus on evidence-based practice and lifelong learning underpins his approach to physiotherapy.

Fresh insight for complex cases

With his depth of experience, Dhiv is able to take a fresh look at complex or longstanding conditions and provide new insight and guidance. His goal is to design treatment that is effective, realistic, and meaningful to each person.

Listening beyond the injury

For Dhiv, listening is just as important as technical skill. He takes the time to understand each patient’s life and goals, ensuring treatment isn’t just about fixing a joint or muscle, but about helping people return to what matters most to them.

Physiotherapy in the family

Physiotherapy is in Dhiv’s blood. Growing up with a mum who worked as a physio, he saw first-hand the difference the profession can make in people’s lives. That early influence shaped his values — combining clinical expertise with genuine care.

A life full of music and sport

Outside the clinic, Dhiv is a passionate musician and cricketer. He has been playing guitar since the age of 11 and performing live for nearly a decade, singing at pubs, cafés, and events around Melbourne. You can explore his music at www.dhiv.com.au, follow him on Instagram at @dhivnmusic, or watch a performance on YouTube. He is also on the committee of his local cricket club and enjoys time with his young family.

The knee joint is a masterpiece of engineering and design. There are many different structures working in harmony to take us from A to B. But when things go wrong, it’s difficult to isolate the true cause of the problem, so seeking expertise in knee assessment and management is important.
